My ZX Spectrum 128 'Toastrack'
February 14, 2022The ZX Spectrum is one of the first computers I got at home. At first the gummy key 48KB model, later the ZX Spectrum+ 48k model. Learned programming with it, allthough I did gaming predominately on my C64. As both Spectrums broke in my youth, I moved on to the Oric Atmos for programming.
My present ZX Spectrum 128 'Toastrack' was bought later around the year 2000.
My current Spectrum configuration:
- ZX Spectrum 128 'Toastrack
- DivMMC Future mass storage
- vDrive ZX Microdrive emulator
- RAM Turbo interface
- Interface 1
As alas the DivMMC and the Interface 1 can not be connected at the same time as the ROMs conflict, I run it in two configurations: or I have the DivMMC Future connected for SD card mass storage and joystick interface, or I have the Interface 1 connected plus the vDrive ZX for microdrive emulation. Then use the RAM Turbo as joystick interface.
